The 133rd session of the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is held in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province from April 15 to May 5. Anhui has 767 companies participating, with a total of 20,000 offline and 100,000 online products on display, among which 259 companies participated in Phase 1, showcasing over 5,000 offline products, mainly in the electromechanical category. Among the 767 participating companies, 148 are first-time exhibitors, accounting for 19.3%, which manifests local companies' increasing awareness of participating in international market competition. 386 of all participants, which accounts for 50.3%, are production-oriented companies. 
In the two new thematic exhibition areas of this year's fair, namely the industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing area and the new energy(NEV) and intelligent connected vehicle(ICV) area, Anhui has 30 booths that present its achievements in high-end manufacturing. According to the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce, Anhui's goal for this year's Canton Fair is to achieve a turnover of over US$2 billion, an increase of 20% compared to the last offline exhibition, i.e. the 126th session in 2019. This will lay a stable foundation for the province's foreign trade in the first half of the year and even for the entire year. (Reported by Peng Yuanyuan)
